About <span style="color:#CC0000">R.A.C.E.R.

Announcing a new concept in online racing: RacerAlex.com and the R.A.C.E.R licensing program.

With the cooperation from FILSCA (Fedération Internationale des Ligues de Simulateurs Courses Automobile), the first world sanctioning body of sim racing leagues, and AutoSimSport Magazine, we’ve come up with the R.A.C.E.R. (Regulated Association of Championship Electronic Racers) licensing program. This program will encourage drivers to compete at the highest held standards for electronic racing by adhering to the driving code set forth by FILSCA and the R.A.C.E.R. administrators

Once licensed, members have full access to all the features of the R.A.C.E.R. Portal. This includes access to the R.A.C.E.R. online servers and access to the full Forums on the website. Drivers will also have the ability to upload and download the custom car skins of the other racers that will be held on the server. Members will also have access to the RacerAlex.com Teamspeak servers and can create their own “room” for your race team. Teamspeak will also be used extensively during the events for drivers meetings and race announcements.

As you progress, license upgrades will be awarded based on many factors like RaceCast r-Ranking and protest history. Equally, deductions will also be imposed for bad behavior. We don’t just want the “best” racers… we want the smart racers.

All of this means nothing without race events to back them up. Licensed racers will be encouraged to participate in RacerAlex.com race events. Members will have a chance to have pick-up races through the RacerAlex server, but once a month, RacerAlex.com will hold sponsored large-scale, weekend long events. RacerAlex.com will aim to bring the thrill of real-life club-style racing to online electronic racers around the world. There will be qualifying heats, bump-ups, A and B main events, Lucky Dog races and prizes for the top finishers from some of the top hardware and software companies involved in the sim racing community.

Make no mistake- this is no game and this is no league. This is the real deal. No excuses racing for all the marbles. Nobody is required to show up… there is no long-term championship… it’s all about the racing. Pure &amp; simple, and at professional standards!

These events will be closely regulated and have real-time race officiating through Teamspeak communications. Comprehensive officiating combined with a complete system to help R.A.C.E.R.s log protests insures that licensed drivers are held accountable to the high standards set by both FILSCA and the R.A.C.E.R. licensing concept. The goal is to create a professional, challenging, and fun environment for the enthusiastic sim racer to thrive in.
