Thanks for all the fun, guys. Actually it was a sad circumstance what allowed me to be in time for the race. I was called after lunch and told that a friend of my family had died:sad:. I went there to say "I'm sorry" to her family and my girlfriend called a friend of her to go to the theatre. Anyway, She and I had good laughs when reading your posts. Believe me, I'd need to point a gun at her to take her to a McDonalds...:biggrinbandit:
And about the race... Good qualify. In my offline tests, I was able to qualify in high 16s, But I guess a 17:4XX wasn't that bad. P4 on the grid after a funny fight with Tiago Moreira, which was a prelude of my short race. I overtook Tiago in my start and saw Gil spinning in the first corner. Suddenly, I was P2!!! First 2 laps, I took it easy to warm the tyres and I had Tiago less than 1 second behind. I wasn't really under pressure as he didn't really tried to overtake me, and I really wasn't taking risks. So, In lap 4, at the exit of Farina (the slowest right hand-corner), I did nothing different to the other laps, but the car spun and went into the wall. I lost my FR wheel and it was the end of the race for me. A real pity, because I think Tiago and me had a similar race pace and it could have been a nice fight for the podium... Parabens to Miguel for the race, and also for Gil. Both were completely out of my reach today...
