ArrayList of (new) features, translated from the german website, a few are listed in previous messages.
----------------------------------

Completely new, compromiseless driving physic.

Authentic achievements of all teams. Like realistic wear and starting
performances (for example Renault makes the fastest starts).

Realistic engine mapping.

Related to the RPM, fuel consumption and the load/stress of the V10-engine.
The first mode of the engine-mapping will represent the weakest mode with
the smallest fuel consumption and is therefore particularly suitable for Safety
car phases, while the upper modes should be used only for qualification
sessions and intermediate prints (like overtaking). You cannot complete a GP in this highest mode, because the engine wouldn't make it to the end.
For the race they recommend mode five and six.

Characteristic tire behavior

The characteristics of the tires are accurately converted by Bridgestone and Michelin. There are three compounds, soft medium and hard. Only damaged tires may be changed during the race. With the soft and medium Bridgestone tires it is at some tracks not possible to drive more than 60 laps,
so the advantage is with the Michelin tires. Likewise, the Bridgestone tires will exhibit the well-known qualifying weakness, since they heat themselves not so fast and supply too few grip at the beginning, but after that they are very stable.

Accurate tire wear.

Non-linear tire wear, in relatinship to the driving style of the driver and the trackcircumstances. The status bar must be interpreted in a new way:
If the bar is yellow, is no longer means a loss of grip. It means that 30% is used, but it still offeres best performance.
If the bar is empty, the tire bursts.
Also, pieces of carbonfibre can cause punctures.[/quote]
