Well, I'll share my thoughts and suggestions with you all:
I arrived late (just 4 races), but I liked the league, both the friendly atmosphere and the organization itself, altough, of course, there are always problems between drivers... we're competitive :rolleyes:
If you're going to do a 2nd season, I'd suggest the following changes in the competition:

If you're going to do a 2nd season, I'd suggest the following changes in the competition:
- Include a formation lap, it's really useful in this mod.<>
- Change qualifying system to: public, 20 mins, max 12 laps. I've tried this system with 23 cars in track and it worked nice...<>
- Define a max number of cars in the grid, let's say 24. If there are more drivers willing to participate, discard some of them in qualifying, that is, only the 24 better qualifiers make it to the race. It happened in real 1979 season.<>
- To favour a colourful grid instead of a Williams cup, I agree with the limit of "max 3 similar cars", but besides of that, I'd use a ballast system. In my experience is the best way to guarantee close competition during the whole season. Drivers get and loose weight penalties based in their finishing position. In another league, I used this system and it worked nice:
1st:+50 Kg for next race
2nd:+25 Kg
3rd: +10 Kg
4th: +0
5th: -10 kg
6th: -25 Kg.
7th and below: -50 Kg.
Please note that the negative numbers are only used for the penalties, not the base weight of the car...<>
