Na Ferrari, o botão do limitador de velocidade de box só se pode activar quando o carro vai em 1ª velocidade (lógico)... azelhice da Mclaren. Má ergonomia do volante. Detalhes... :noworry:[/quote]
Não sei se tinha razão ou não no post que fiz (parece que afinal não estava a limpar a viseira mas a dar murros nele próprio...) mas aqui fica a novidade:
McLaren to change speed limiter system

<span style="color:#008080">McLaren are to look into changing their pit-lane speed limiter system to ensure drivers cannot accidentally activate it, following Heikki Kovalainen's late-race drama in Melbourne.
Kovalainen had just overtaken Fernando Alonso for fourth place when he inadvertently hit the pit-lane speed limiter button on the start-finish straight - which slowed his car down and allowed Alonso to repass him.
In light of what happened, McLaren are to look into modifying the system to ensure that such a scenario cannot happen again.
McLaren's engineering director Paddy Lowe told this week's Autosport: "We'll certainly look at changing it for the future.
"I think we could have done a better job frankly to stop that happening either in the way it's managed electronically or just simply in the way we manage it ergonomically. It shouldn't be something you can pick up by accident when you're moving your hands around."
Some teams have systems where the speed limiter is deactivated above a certain speed or gear.

Di Montezemolo pays tribute to Todt

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo paid tribute to Jean Todt after the Frenchman stepped down as Ferrari's CEO earlier this week.
Di Montezemolo thanked Todt, who left his position as principal of the Formula One team at the end of last season, for his service to the marque in an open letter to Ferrari employees which was printed in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
"I want to thank Jean for his effort, passion, and competence that have been an example to all his co-workers. I know him well and therefore am not surprised by his desire to reduce his operating involvement in Ferrari.
"He is a determined man and true to his word, and having reached the objectives we agreed on when he became CEO he has decided to dedicate a bit more time to himself and to his other interests."
Todt will remain on the Ferrari board after being appointed as director of sports management, and will also continue to represent Ferrari at meetings of the FIA's World Motorsport Council.

Não sei se repararam,... mas a Mclaren como a época passada foi desclassificada ficou em último lugar no campeonato de construtores certo? Assim sendo este ano a McLaren DEVERIA estar com as últimas boxes aquelas bem juntinhas á saída do Pit Lane,...
Por acaso repararam em que sitio é que a McLaren ficou?

São gente de bem, e por isso, são um grupo de pessoas com estatuto diferenciado, e como havia de arranjar uma desculpa para essa situação, a maFIA argumentou que a tenda de Woking era muito grande e não poderia ficar no fim das Boxes!!!

O Bernie pagou às equipas para colocar a Mclaren em 5º nas boxes, a motorhome da equipa não cabia junto das boxes mais pequenas.
