Mas as regras da penalização não são claras em que só ha penalização no caso de cortar caminho? Estou a perguntar porque não sei se é verdade.
É que dar uma curva por fora numa escapatória não é o mesmo que cortar uma chicane, pelo menos o caminho a percorrer é mais longo do que se fosse na pista.
Sempre me lembro de ver esse tipo de coisas, em Adelaide havia uma curva onde muitas vezes os pilotos faziam o mesmo que se viu este fim de semana em SPA.

Segundo sei, a pista é delimitada por duas linhas brancas, uma de cada lado. Tudo o que for feito fora dessas linhas não pode ser corrida.
O caso da utilização da escapatória, como o hamilton e o kimi fizeram em simultâneo, foi um aproveitamento para além da pista. Se eles não tivessem aquela escapatória das duas uma: ou tinham ficado lá os dois ou então, o mais certo, teriam tido muito mais cuidado na abordagem da curva.
Muito sinceramente, penso que o problema está e em fazerem escapatórias onde quem as usa consegue, muitas vezes, não ter nenhuma penalização no andamento. Não digo fazerem escapatórias em gravilha ou de relva (esta é fixe para os estampanços:biggrinbandit:), mas devem, de alguma forma, obrigar a reduzir a velocidade a quem as usa.

Raikkonen extends Ferrari deal to 2010<!--sizec--><!--/sizec-->
Ferrari has announced that Kimi Raikkonen will stay with the team for the next two seasons - ending speculation that the reigning champion is on the brink of retirement. Raikkonen's future had been a hot topic in the paddock all summer, with his disappointing performances this year fuelling rumours that he would quit the sport at the end of 2009 - or even after at the end of this season. Fernando Alonso was widely assumed to be waiting in the wings to take the Ferrari seat whenever Raikkonen departed. However today's surprise announcement just before second practice means that Ferrari will retain the Raikkonen and Felipe Massa partnership for at least two more years, with Massa having been re-signed through 2010 last autumn.
"Ferrari announces that it has extended its agreement with Kimi Raikkonen to the end of the 2010 race season," said a team statement.
"Therefore, the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro driver line-up remains unchanged for the next two coming seasons."
Raikkonen, who has not won a race since the Spanish Grand Prix in April, had always played down speculation about his future plans. In an interview with the official Formula 1 website this week, he insisted he was extremely happy at Ferrari.
"I enjoy being here and I had a fantastic time last year - when I joined last season, I had more fun than I have had in a long time," said Raikkonen.
"It is a great place to be, working with all these 120 percent-committed people.
"And red suits me, I would say."
The Finn joined Ferrari at the start of 2007, replacing Michael Schumacher, after five seasons at McLaren, and went on to dramatically snatch his first world title in a final round showdown with McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso.

não está para ir para a bmw? Embora isso signifique que o Heifeld sai (entra o Alonso) e o Kubica também (a pedido do Alonso....).
O mais certo é ficar na Renault ou ir para a Toyota, um dos melhores carros da F1 a precisar urgentemente de um piloto de topo.

FIA clarifies chicane-cutting position

Formula One drivers have been told that they should wait at least one corner before resuming a fight for position in the event of future chicane-cutting incidents.
In the wake of the Lewis Hamilton controversy from Belgium, F1 drivers sought clarification on what was and was not allowed during their regular Friday evening briefing with F1 race director Charlie Whiting.
Autosport.com understands the drivers were informed that in the event of a driver cutting a chicane and gaining a position, he not only had to give that place back but should also wait for another corner before he could attempt to retake it.
Waiting until after the following corner would ensure there were no questions of a driver having gained an advantage.
At Spa, Hamilton gave back the lead he gained from Raikkonen when he cut the final chicane, but then retook first position almost immediately under braking for La Source.
The race stewards deemed that Hamilton had gained an advantage in that move, so gave him with a 25-second penalty that stripped him of victory and moved him down to third. His McLaren team have appealed against that decision.
Red Bull Racing's Mark Webber welcomed the clarification on the situation, which should minimize the chances of repeat problems in Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.
"We are still trying to find a solution for the second chicane here, because we still think there is a way to roll through there," Webber told autosport.com. "But generally, it is pretty clear for people to probably not attack immediately again, which wasn't mega, mega clear in the past."
