Discussão geral - diospiro_verde - 17-08-2007 Vocês não vão acreditar no que encontrei à venda no Amazon. ![]() LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Reviews Synopsis This is the story of the boy who proves fairytales do come true. The boy who grew up on a council estate, who, at the tender age of 22, came through against all the odds to dominate and revolutionise the world of motor racing.Thrown in at the deep end 'on a mighty whim' by F1 team owner Ron Dennis, Lewis Hamilton crowned his 2007 debut season by winning the title in Japan in October - and was in the running for the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year 2007. It was an outcome no one seriously could have predicted: not only did he have to combat his own nerves and fears; he had to overcome a dissenter within his own camp. With behind-the-scenes insight into the intense rivalry between Hamilton and his team mate Fernando Alonso which threatened to derail the young Briton's dream, bestselling sports author Frank Worrall describes how the rookie rose above his critics, keeping his dignity and emerging triumphant as he racked up sensational wins around the world. But the boy-wonder's stellar rise through the motor racing ranks from karting to the hotly contested F3 Superprix and onto the F1 podium was by no means straightforward. Lewis' racing career began aged just six, when his father, h(...) LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Eles até conseguem prever a corrida em que Hamilton será campeão. ISTO É O FURO DO ANO. Eu vou COMPRAR este livro. Ainda dizem que eu sou fanático pelo Kimi  Discussão geral - Carlos Costa - 21-08-2007 Robert Kubica has lamented the reversal of technologies in Formula One. The Polish driver, who miraculously escaped injury in a massive crash at this year's Canadian Grand Prix, suggested that he is not particularly a supporter of changes designed to aid safety. "We've gone from nice, slick racing tyres to grooved tyres," he said in an interview with the British magazine F1 Racing. "We've gone from V10s to V8s. And now we go from TC (traction control) to no TC." Traction control will be banned at the end of the season, with the FIA believing it can police the prohibition better than in the past because all cars will be fitted with a standard electronic control unit. It has been argued that banning traction control will give the drivers more scope to show their talents, but 22-year-old Kubica said the most important thing is for F1 to be at the cutting edge of technology. "I love racing and driving but I want the cars to be the fastest things on earth," he said. "I don't mind the challenge of having to do it precisely with my right foot, but ultimately I want to go fast and I don't like things that slow me down." Sim, a F1 deveria ser o expoente máximo da tecnologia no desporto automóvel, mas... Qualquer dia temos carros sem piloto... Já é possível... :suspicious: Nelson Piquet Jr has warned Formula One's backmarker teams to not bother offering him a debut drive for the 2008 season. The Brazilian test driver, linked with a possible move to a racing cockpit next year with Renault or Williams, revealed that he is only interested in joining a team that is capable of scoring regular points. "I want to race for a top team," the 22-year-old told f1today.nl, explaining that he had not worked his entire career to finish last in F1. "From the outset I want to have the opportunity to collect points. "Some people think it is important to gain experience with a small team. I see it differently. "You only have to look at (Lewis) Hamilton; on his first attempt with McLaren he was right up there." Piquet finished second to Hamilton in the feeder series GP2 last year, thereafter agreeing to emulate Fernando Alonso and Heikki Kovalainen by sitting out a single season as Renault test driver.
